Dear Lord, thank you for Heidi's willingness to want you to "clean out" the wounds she is experiencing. May you give her the strength and stamina to keep on. Please allow exactly what she needs in order to heal and get past this situation. Thank you for this suffering. Actually, "Hallelujah" for this tribulation! Please continue to bless Heidi's life with restoration. May she having an overwhelming sense of being on Your path of glory….regardless of any emotional feelings. Thank you for this sister. She loves you dearly, Lord, please continue to bless her with your truths. Amen

I'm just getting caught up on posts and I have to tell you, the road kill post was just what I needed today. I found out some very tragic news at church today involving some people that I care very deeply about. I was so upset, I was rocked at my very core, by this news. I was really very upset with God, thinking that it wasn't fair and that the people involved didn't deserve this. After re-reading the segment of the book I am reminded that God is in control here. (I knew that down deep, but I just needed to be reminded). I realized that God is weaping with all of us. He sees our tears and he feels out pain. I really just needed that today, just to help make sense of this heartbreaking news. Thank you so much for writing all about your journey. Your words have had an impact on me on so many levels.You are such a blessing.

But i know that the Lord intends it to refine you and to bring glory and honor to himself. There WILL be joy in this trial…it may be a long way down the road, but I know that I know that I know, that he promises "Joy comes in the morning. Sorrow lasts for the night." We fix our eyes not on what is seen, for what is seen is temporary…let us fix our eyes, instead on what is unseen, for that is eternal. Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us a victory that far outweighs anything here on earth! I must praise him with confidence that His word is true!
